IT’S TIME AMERICA TO BLESS GOD FOR HE HAS BLESSED US!
The evening of September 11, 2001, members of our government stood on the steps of a building in Washington D.C. and sang “God Bless America”. It was seen across this great country as news channels broadcast all of the day’s events. We had, just that morning, witnessed the tragedy of terrorist attacks that took thousands of lives and wounded thousands of others. It also scarred the lives of all Americans alive and changed our view of our world. The comforting words of that song gave us hope.
As a Christian body we know our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ. God, through His Son, Has Blessed America! That is why our nation has stood all these years to give us the freedoms we have. God has given us a mighty military but that is not the reason we have stood against all the oppressors and oppression throughout our history. It’s only because God has blessed us. Our nation grew up on values that were Christian based. That is why we have prospered the way we have.
Common sense will tell us all that when we took our eyes off our Christian values we began to stumble. From taking prayer out of school to wanting gay marriages to be legal, from wanting “in God we Trust” off our money to “Under God” out of our Pledge of Allegiance, from “no 10 commandments” and “no Nativity scenes” on public property we see our country falling. It’s Time America to turn our hearts back to God.
This world does not want Jesus Christ or Christians in it. This place is not our home, Heaven is. We are not welcome here. Now, there are religions that are welcome; but they are false religions. We are afraid that these lead people away from God instead of to Him. They are so close that they seem right but all along they are deadly wrong.
America, our hope is plainly this: God’s way. We need to turn our hearts back to seeing and hearing what God and His word have to say about our country. Along with that, we will all see His love for us and His plan of Salvation for us as individuals.
We have made a yard sign to express our concern for our nation to see the need of turning back to God. We feel America is at a turning point and needs to make the right choice. The sign says, “It’s Time America! To Bless God! For He HAS blessed us”. Psalms 103: 1-5.
We believe if we show our neighbors our commitment by placing this sign in our yards that others will want to know more about it and find out what Christians already know. That is that we need Jesus in our lives, our schools, work places, businesses and our nation!
